Objectives
to initiate, develop and review Information Technology Standards, Guidelines and Frameworks for effective governance.
to improve standards of Information Technology products and services by creating awareness and;
to provide a protective platform for consumers of IT products and services in Nigeria.
Functions
To support the development of standards, guidelines and frameworks for IT governance in Nigeria;
To support the development of standards, guidelines and frameworks for IT governance in Nigeria;
To develop guidelines along with other relevant department for IT service and practice in Nigeria ;
To develop compliance framework for set standards, guidelines and regulations;
To mediate between consumer and IT service provider’s;
To create a consumer protection platform where dissatisfied consumer can lodge complaints; and
To create awareness on consumer right of information on IT products and services
