Mr. Gambo Muhammad Ismail is a graduate of Accounting from Bayero University Kano. He holds Master of Science (MSc.) Degree in Accounting, Master’s Degree in Islamic Banking and Finance (MIBF), Post Graduate Diploma in Education from Usman Danfodio University Sokoto, and National Diploma in Accounting and Finance from Kaduna Polytechnic.

Gambo started his career in the Nigerian Banking sector with Unity Bank, later with Jaiz Bank and Sterling Bank Plc as non-interest banking Compliance officer. He later joined National Information Technology Development Agency (NITDA) in 2020. On assumption of duty, he was attached to the Finance and Management Control Department (FMC).

He attended number of programmes and trainings representing the Agency. He was later posted to Budget Development and Monitoring Unit (BDMU) in 2020 where he is currently acting as Head of the unit.

Mr. Gambo is a Senior Associate Member Chattered Institute of Islamic Finance Professionals (ACIFP), Malaysia and currently undergoing accounting professional course in Nigeria. Mr. Gambo believes in effective service delivery in the space of IT regulations and financial services.
