Global city Teams Challenge (GCTC) & National Institute for Standards & Technology (NIST),
GCTC is an initiative of the National Institute for Standards & Technology (NIST) and US Ignite of the United States to encourage local governments, Academia, research institute and Technology developers, to team up for two years to jointly develop solutions that are enabled by Internet of Things (IOT) Technology to address municipal problems.
GCTC uses the internet of Things (IoT) to solve problems confronting our society ranging from Education, health, national security etc. Action clusters are then formed, which later gives birth to the formation of Working group which may consist of both local and international partners and a host of global technology and innovation solutions providers.
