The management of Abuja Enterprises Agency (AEA) paid a courtesy visit to the National Information Technology Development Agency (NITDA) in Abuja.

The Acting Director-General of NITDA, Dr. Vincent Olatunji commended the AEA for the courtesy visit and also stated his willingness to partner with AEA on some strategic areas which will yield positive impact towards the way services are been delivered to the public.

He asserted that NITDA as an Information Communication Technology (ICT) Regulatory Body will aid to foster rapid development of ICT which will serve as a tool for job creation and revenue generation to the economy. In this regard, the Agency is open and willing to partner with the AEA towards achieving its goals, thus paving the way for the growth and development of ICT.

He stated that looking at the goals and vision of AEA and that of NITDA, the Agencies can work together towards achieving the growth of ICT in the various sectors in the country.

The Acting Managing Director, Mr. Muhammad Tukur of the Abuja Enterprise Agency stated that the Agency is working towards improving the living standard of the people. For over 10 years, AEA has empowered not less than 37,000 people and has also created not less10, 000 jobs in various areas of the economy.

He sought the partnership of NITDA in the following areas: Establishment of ICT hubs, Technical Support from NITDA in the areas of training and capacity building of their staff on ICT.

Mr. Tukur assured the Acting DG of NITDA that they will keep the relationship for a better effective and efficient service delivery in line with the change mantra of the present administration.
