Amina Sambo-Magaji (Ph.D) is the Acting National Coordinator of the Office for ICT Innovation and Entrepreneurship (OIIE) in the Agency.
She holds a first class degree in Computer Science from the Abubakar Tafawa Balewa University, a Masters with Distinction in Information Engineering with special focus on Network Management at the Robert Gordon University (RGU),Aberdeen, Scotland and a Doctorate Degree is in Artificial Intelligence “Combining Search Strategies for Distributed Constraint Problems” from the same University in Aberdeen. Dr Amina has published and presented her work in several international conferences and journals.
Starting her career as a graduate assistant at ATBU, she later moved to the Economic and Financial Crime Commission (EFCC) as a pioneer ICT staff in 2004.
In her current role at OIIE, NITDA, Dr Amina brings her academic excellence and wealth of experience to build an inclusive and sustainable national ICT ecosystem. Thus,drive ICT innovation and entrepreneurship across the country for job creation, revenue generation and national competitiveness.
She is an active member of the Nigerian Computer Society (NCS) and British Computer Society (BCS). She also enjoys exercise, mentoring and travelling.
